Steel Roller Shutters

Steel Roller Shutters

Operation

Hand operation: For small shutters, which are counter-balanced by springs to offer an ease of operation.

Chain operation: is by a heavy-duty hand winder with a ratio of 4:1. This system uses the same bracket, sprockets and drive chain as our motorised shutter making motorisation at a later date a simple and very cost effective procedure.

Motorised: Is a shutter drive including emergency manual chain override in case of power failure, available in 240v or standard in 3 phase and can be coupled with logic controls, fire alarms and remote controls.

Brackets & Running Gear

Brackets are manufactured from mild steel 10mm or 12mm thick depending on door size. All sprockets are machine cut from high quality steel.

Steel Drum

Manufactured from tubular steel to achieve minimum deflection. The steel shaft is solid bright round bar supported no less than every 2 metres, along the length of the drum and is counterbalanced with helical torsion springs. Bearings are used at both ends of our roller drums, resulting in probably the most advanced and smoothest running drum on the market to date.
